Context¶

Provide context for evaluating mathematical expressions, unit conversions, and currency calculations inline in the launcher via qalc / libqalculate.

Benchmark¶

Provide examples of inline launcher calculators (such as PowerToys Run Calculator or Raycast Calculator).

Interaction Flow¶

Describe the interaction flow for typing expressions (directly or prefixed with =) and copying the result to the clipboard on Enter.

Visual Design¶

Provide visual design mockups or wireframes of the inline calculator result row in Figma.

Implementation¶

Describe how a persistent qalc / libqalculate background process or IPC worker is queried from Quickshell as the user types.
